(Maryse Godden) DOZENS of people have been injured after suspected ISIS gunmen stormed a packed tourist hotel in Manila and opened fire.
Huge explosions were also heard blasting out as an unknown number of heavily armed masked men burst into the Resorts World hotel in the Philippine capital and began firing at will.

Police are in the area after heavily armed men wearing black hoods stormed the complex at midnight



The hotel complex is near Manila’s international airport in the Philippine capital – sparking a security alarm amid an ongoing Muslim 
militant siege in the country’s south
Terrified witnesses told how they saw some frantic guests leaping off balconies in an effort to escape
 the carnage.
ISIS has since claimed "lone wolf soldiers" from the terror group carried out the attack - which 
happened at around midnight local time. Footage posted on social media shows scores of people 
frantically running from the hotel and casino complex as loud bangs were heard.
Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said at least 25 people were injured and were taken to hospital. 
No fatalities have yet been reported.
Horrified witnesses told how masked men stormed into the third floor of one of the resorts' four 
hotels and opened fire at guests and employees as they fled for their lives.

Chilling photos from the scene shows bloodied victims lying down while others were seen carried 
out of the building.
Kara Verano, who took footage of people fleeing the hotel lobby, wrote on Facebook: "We were just 
eating at Bulgogi when we heard gunshots other customers said that there were men coming out of 
the casino wearing masks and armed.
"We got stuck in the restaurant's storage room for almost two hours with continuous gunshots coming
 from outside and smell something is burning.
"I wasn't sure if it was a teargas or something is actually burning.. it was as if impossible to breakout."
